Tag-Rugby Development Event

28th February 2015

Boys and girls from Year 1 and 2 enjoyed training with and playing against St Andrews. It was a new sport for the majority of children and it was a great opportunity to learn the game and have practice matches. We narrowly lost our final matches. Our Year 2 match was a draw until St Andrews won with a try in extra time. Our very own Ruby Prenter got the award for Tag-Rugby player of the overall event. It was a great opportunity for our children to demonstrate their good teamwork and sportsmanship. Well done to all who participated and to the parents and staff who came to support the children in the freezing cold! For more photos see Medway Touch Multi-Sports Club website

Basketball Development Competition

31st January 2015

Our Junior side was out in full force today. Our Year 3/4 side were cup winners and our Year 5/6 were runner's up in the competition. Our very own Ollie Gilfoyle won player of the whole competition! These great scores mean that Bryony retains our  position as second in the Medway Touch Schools Cup. Well done to all players and to those who came to support the children. Mini Youth Games - Swimming Tournament
15th January 2015

Our swimming team took part in our second MYGs event of the school year and with our previous success in this event, the team were confident in doing well. Oliver Isaacs lead the team well and excelled himself in his individual races producing the fastest times throughout all of the competing boys both in freestyle and breast stroke and the third fastest time for butterfly. The rest of the team swam well and produced a very creditable 9th place out of the 41 schools competing. A fantastic achievement! Well done everyone.

11 Plus Selection Tests  2014

Once again the children have achieved a superb standard in their tests. We have a wonderful staff who not only care for your children but they strive to ensure each child is constantly challenged and reaches his or her own potential. Our results and the happiness of our children are a testament to our whole school commitment to developing well rounded individuals.

To celebrate the end of the tests, Mr and Mrs Edmunds bought all Year 6 and their teachers some well deserved jam doughnuts! This is a long established and popular tradition!
